MI IWASA, a RYT200 certified teacher, hails from Tokyo, Japan. Originally a dancer, Emi started practicing yoga in order to build strength and improve flexibility.

She was quick to discover the power of breath control, one of the key components of yoga, and greatly treasures both its physical and mental benefits.

Emi Iwasa currently teaches Power Vinyasa Flow for “Yoga To The People” at both their Manhattan and Brooklyn locations.

Class Description:

Power Vinyasa is an open level class that focuses on resting, balancing, powerful postures and core work.

The goal of this class is to find a both a balance and a connection between effort, movement, and breath. The emphasis is on you, not any other person.

Get yourself ready to move and sweat. Bring a towel and a bottle of water as needed.
